Lymphedema Therapy & Specialized Lymphatic Care
What Is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist?
A Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) is a professional who has completed advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of lymphedema and other conditions affecting the lymphatic system.
Lymphedema is a chronic condition that occurs when lymphatic fluid is unable to move effectively through the body, resulting in swelling, feelings of heaviness, discomfort, and changes in tissue quality. It can develop following cancer treatment, lymph node removal, radiation therapy, surgery, trauma, or as a result of primary lymphatic disorders.
As a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I have received specialized training in lymphatic anatomy, manual lymphatic drainage, fibrosis management, compression therapy principles, and long-term self-care strategies. This advanced training allows me to support clients experiencing lymphedema, chronic swelling, post-surgical recovery, and other lymphatic concerns through individualized, evidence-informed care.
My goal is to provide compassionate, personalized treatment that helps improve comfort, support healthy lymphatic function, and empower clients with the tools and education needed to confidently manage their condition.

This initial appointment is designed to evaluate your unique needs and establish a personalized treatment plan. During your assessment, we will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and concerns, evaluate areas of swelling, and assess tissue quality and lymphatic function.
When appropriate, measurements may be taken to establish a baseline and monitor progress over time. Education is also an important part of this visit, allowing time to discuss self-care strategies, compression considerations, and treatment recommendations tailored to your goals.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, experiencing chronic swelling, recovering from cancer treatment, or seeking guidance regarding a lymphatic condition, this appointment provides the foundation for individualized care and ongoing support.
Best for: new clients seeking lymphedema therapy, cancer-related lymphedema, chronic swelling, primary or secondary lymphedema, and clients requiring a comprehensive lymphatic assessment.
